Jim O'Halloran
Jim O'Halloran's background includes working for a leading aerospace company
as a consultant to the Ministry of Defence on the Defence Intelligence
Staff as a weapons systems engineer from June 1984 through to December
1998. This work involved the design and analysis of guided weapon systems
and their associated equipment, including related weapon control radars,
communications and system simulators.
Prior to joining the Ministry of Defence, he served in the Royal Navy
for in excess of 20 years within the Communications and Electronic Warfare
branch. His naval career included shore time spent at the Government Communications
Headquarters in Cheltenham and time at the Ministry of Defence in Naval
Intelligence. Sea time was spent on various ships of the Fleet, including
Royal Fleet Auxiliary's, and four years as the operational Chief of the
Fleet Electronic Warfare Support Group, a small, smart and select group
of individual experts available at a moment's notice to go anywhere in
the world where their particular skills could be used to foreword the
aims of Her Majesty's Government.
